66 Ways God Loves You Book and Tote Bag |
Jennifer Rothschild infuses her new book, 66 Ways God Loves You, with beautiful
wisdom and loving thoughts.
Her passion comes from her own understanding of the
Bible.
“One profound,
unavoidable, irreducible, soul-quaking effect—I feel the love of God.
I want that for you too.
God deeply loves you—He loves you with an everlasting love.
So God tells you in
sixty-six ways . . . in each and every book of the Bible.”
Rothschild points out God’s message of love from Genesis to Revelation. Two to three pages are devoted to each book of the Bible. The passages are scripture-infused meat, but concise enough to be read in five or ten minutes. It’s a perfect beginning or ending to your daily Bible reading.
A few of the titles are:
In
Deuteronomy God Keeps His Covenant of Love to Me and to a Thousand Generations
In
Daniel God Joins Me in the Fire
In
Titus God Steps Into My Confusion with a Love That Saves Me
I love all the ones I’ve read so far, but the one shouting
God’s love to me the most at this point in my life is,
In
Joshua, God Gives Me Divine Purpose
Not always, but moments do arise in the midst of homeschooling,
doing laundry, and running errands, when I struggle with my life’s purpose. I
mean, really. Is this my ultimate calling?
Rothschild reminded me,
“God loves you too much to leave you without purpose.”
She shared scriptures of God’s divine purpose for our
lives—to love Him, walk with Him, obey, and serve Him.
“You have been given a magnificent purpose of living out
the words of Jesus and sharing them with others. Thank God for giving you the
highest purpose—knowing and loving Him and making Him known.”
This chapter moved me to repentance, and inspired me to
press forward with a new motivation.
How about you? Would you like this little book to
refresh your attitude? Or perhaps you know someone who could use reminders,
sixty-six of them, of God’s precious love.
Then, get your name in the drawing for a chance to win your own copy. Plus, there’s a pretty, pink tote bag to go with it.

DeleteWhen I take the time to look around and really take in the beauty around me, the colors in the sky, leaves, flowers, water, people, and animals, I know that God made it all appealing visually for our benefit. He could have made everything the same color or different shades of gray, but He didn't. That's just one way that I experience God's love.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, Kymberlie. Everything God has created, is a display of His love.
DeleteLINDA C. sent this message: "I can't just say one way that I have experienced God's love. He has shown His love to me in so many ways. First of all He saved me when I was 6 years old. He has provided for me for the past 20 years since my husband died. He healed me from cancer 9 years ago and spared me when my house caught on fire. He walks with me everyday and meets my every need. Jeremiah 29:11-13 has been my verses to hold to through many trials."
